How long have you been in business?
Our B&B will be 20 years old in 2009, while the Spa celebrated 5 years of operations in April 2008; Nat and Lynn have owned Portsmouth Harbor Inn & Spa since May 2004.
What is your primary product or service?
Bed and Breakfast accommodations and health and beauty treatments in the Day Spa.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We have always enjoyed entertaining family and friends, and when traveling, we stay at B&Bs in preference to hotels and motels. We wanted to give people coming to our lovely area a nice place to stay, and to provide superior spa treatments to benefit travelers and local people.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
There are no other B&Bs in our area with a spa, and there are no other spas in our area with B&B-type accommodations.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location; no plans to expand.

The B&B is open virtually every day; the Spa is open Tues - Sun 10 - 5, ant on Thurs and Fri, 10 - 6.
